Not So Expert Picks: Week Five Edition
Hey sports fans, Daniel, Bruce and Chris here with our picks for the NFL slate this weekend. We’re going to keep track of these for bragging rights, so we’ll keep you updated each week who’s in the lead and who doesn’t know as much as they think they may.
So here’s the standing after our week four picks. Chris is leading the way after the first week of our picks at 12-4, while Bruce and Daniel are tied for second (or last, however you want to look at it) at 10-6. So here are our picks for week five.
Saints @ Panthers: Bruce and Chris are soaring in the “Brees” with the Saints, while Daniel is picking with mostly his heart and taking Cam and the Panthers to pull the upset.
Eagles @ Bills: All three of us are looking for the “Dream Team” to be 1-4 after Sunday.
Chiefs @ Colts: Bruce will look for Kansas City to get their second win in a row, while Chris and Daniel are trusting Curtis Painter and the Colts pass rush at home.
Cardinals @ Vikings: All three of us are picking the Cardinals big in this one.
Seahawks @ Giants: We’re all giving the check to the G-Men here.
Titans @ Steelers: Bruce and Chris are going with the tenacious Titans defense, Daniel is picking the home team in a MUST win.
Bengals @ Jaguars: Bruce is going with Dalton and Cincinnati while Chris and Daniel are going with Blaine Gabbert and the Jaguars run defense.
Raiders @ Texans: Bruce is looking for the Texans to keep rolling without Andre Johnson while Daniel and Chris are looking for the Oakland upset behind the legs of Darren “Run DMC” McFadden.
Buccaneers @ 49ers: Bruce and Chris will go with the home team while Daniel is going to pick Josh Freeman and the Bucs passing game to get things done.
Chargers @ Broncos: No surprise, all three of us are picking the Chargers to defeat John Fox’s Broncos.
Jets @ Patriots: All three of us are all on-board with New England at home.
Sunday Night Football
Packers @ Falcons: Another unanimous selection, we’re looking for the Pack to keep rolling on offense, and do just enough on defense.
Monday Night Football
Bears @ Lions: The Lions first home MNF game in ten years, Matthew Stafford to Calvin Johnson Jr., not to mention that deadly defensive line where Nick Fairley will make his rookie debut. Yea, we’re all with the Lions in this one.
