Through two weeks in the NFL, here’s how my weekly NFL Power Poll lines up.

RK. Team (Record) (Last week) Comment

1 - New England Patriots (2-0) (1) Tom Brady playing at an MVP level. Defense much improved from last season.

2 - Green Bay Packers (2-0) (2) Escaped the Queen City with a win it which yours truly perceived as a trap game.

3 - New York Jets (2-0) (8) Beat a bad Jacksonville team. Next three are on the road. Let’s see where they are at after week 5.

4 – Baltimore Ravens (1-1) (3) Followed up a nice win at home versus the Steelers with a bad loss at Tennessee.

5 - New Orleans Saints (1-1) (10) Defense played much better in win over the Bears.

6 - Detroit Lions (2-0) (7) Matt Stafford to Calvin “Megatron” Johnson becoming NFL’s best QB-WR combo!

7 – Philadelphia Eagles (1-1) (4) When MV7 went down, Kafka tried his best to spark a comeback win but Eagles defense was to soft in the end.

8 –  Houston Texans (2-0) (5) Division is theirs for the taking. Nice road win in Miami. Ben Tate filling in nicely for Arian Foster.

9 – Chicago Bears (1-1) (6) Ego-maniac Mike Martz pass-to-run ratio was mind numbing in loss at New Orleans.

10 - San Diego Chargers (1-1) (9) Offense continues to impress despite the loss of Darren Sproles and an injury to Antonio Gates.

11 – Pittsburgh Steelers (1-1) (14) Steelers beat a bad football team in Seattle.

12 –  Dallas Cowboys (1-1) (15) Gutsiest and tough performance by Tony Romo avoided the dreaded 0-2 start.

13 – Washington Redskins (2-0) (12) Still not ready to buy this team however they are pointing up in the stock market.

14 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-1) (17) Best comeback of the weekend last Sunday. Freeman continues to deliver in crunch time.

15 – Arizona Cardinals (1-1) (11) Tough loss in the nation’s capital to an up-and-coming Redskin team.

16 – Oakland Raiders (1-1) (13) Defense imploded in the end blowing a 21 point lead

17 – Atlanta Falcons (1-1) (18) Rebounded nicely with a huge comeback win over the tough Eagles.

18 – Buffalo Bills (2-0) (19) I’m buying this team. I love their offense and Fitzpatrick is a franchise quarterback.

10 - New York Giants (1-1) (25)  Giants win despite losing another player to a season-ending injury.

20 - Jacksonville Jaguars (1-1) (16) Blaine Gabbert era has arrived. And not a moment to soon.

21 - Indianapolis Colts (0-2) (20) Colts looking more and more like a 4 win team and in the hunt for Andrew Luck.

22 - Tennessee Titans (1-1) (21) Impressive offensive performance against the tough Baltimore Ravens defense.

23 – San Francisco 49ers (1-1) (22) Like I said last week, this team won’t win more than six games. Can’t continue to blow leads at home.

24 - Cleveland Browns (1-1) (30) Colt McCoy beats the hapless Colts and was the best player on the field.

25 – Cincinnati Bengals (1-1) (24) The Bengals will be average on offense, just can’t defend anybody.

26 – Denver Broncos (1-1) (27) “It is what it is!” Tim Tebow listed at wide receiver. Enough said.

27 - St. Louis Rams (0-2) (26) Start 0-2 for the fifth straight season.

28 – Carolina Panthers (0-2) (28) Cam Newton playing like a future hall of famer. Loss of Thomas Davis for the season is a significant blow.

29 - Kansas City Chiefs (0-2) (29) Andrew Luck is now in the plans as the Chiefs continue to sputter on offense.

30 - Miami Dolphins (0-2) (23) Tony Sparano’s heat getting hotter and hotter every week.

31 – Minnesota Vikings (0-2) (31) Vikings defense falling apart late in games. Needs to carry the offense to have any chance to win.

32 – Seatte Seahawks (0-2) (32) This is the worst team in the NFL this year. Need a lot of “Luck” to win more than two games this year. A lot of Andrew Luck that is!
