Boston Cannons v Rochester Rattlers

There is a new pro sports franchise in Charlotte! The Charlotte Hounds of Major League Lacrosse, an outdoor professional lacrosse league with 7 teams currently across the United States. They plan to begin play next spring in Memorial Stadium. Team owner and founder Jim McPhillamy chose placing the franchise in Charlotte over the Triangle because “there’s already a saturation of the sport on the other side of the state and we won’t have to compete here with colleges for lacrosse fans.”

That begs the question; will you support the newest professional franchise in the Queen City, the Charlotte Hounds of Major League Lacrosse? In my opinion, yes it will! Why? Because this town supports nitch sports, like minor league hockey and minor league baseball as well as the Charlotte Eagles USL soccer team. The Checkers consistently draw above average crowds at Time Warner Cable Arena and the Knights draw farely decent out in Fort Mill and will draw a ton more fans once they finally move Uptown!

Let me know your thoughts on the new Charlotte Hounds, professional lacrosse team.
