Taylor’s Friday Picks
Kansas vs Richmond: Everyone loves Cinderella, and it would be great to see Richmond keep winning. But Kansas has no business losing to the Spiders. True, they had no business losing to Northern Iowa last year. But I get the sense that this Jayhawks team has a chance to do something really special. KU by double digits.
FSU vs VCU: Its awesome that Shaka Smart and the Rams have won 3 tournament games. They are well coached, well prepared, and deserve to be in. But Florida State is a better team than VCU. The Noles had no business being a 10 seed, especially with Chris Singleton back in the mix. I like Leonard Hamilton and the Noles to advance to the Regional Final.
North Carolina vs Marquette: The Warriors can slow down the Heels and try to make it a half court game. I think they can mess with the Heels break too. But Harrison Barnes is just too clutch for me to pick Marquette. I think the Black Falcon and the Heels win with his big shots.
Ohio State vs Kentucky: I picked the Cats to win this game in my bracket but feel very bad about my chances after watching the Buckeyes last Sunday. Man. they’re good. But I can’t abandon my pick. Here’s hoping Knight, Jones, Lamb, and the gang all play their hearts out and prove me right.
