In what could turn out to be a devastating loss for North Carolina in their hopes of making it to the final four, the Tar Heels have lost reserve Reggie Bullock for the rest of the season with a knee injury. The 6-foot-7 freshman is set to have arthroscopic surgery after tearing the lateral meniscus in his left knee during the Heels’ win against Maryland on Sunday. Reggie was averaging six points, but the guard specializing in outside shooting, was making just 30 percent of his 3-point field goal attempts. What kills the Heels (22-6, 12-2 Atlantic Coast Conference) is that his loss leaves them with just eight scholarship players. That is a recipe for disaster as the conference tournament and ACC Tournament approaches. I still think the Heels will get a number 2 or 3 seed and will make it to at least the Elite 8!
